Kayden deserves the highest commendation and every possible compliment—she was simply absolutely amazing! My visit was initially planned as a quick stop to review the highly-anticipated banana pudding, but thanks to Kayden's professional care and attention, this turned into one of the most memorable customer service experiences I’ve had in years. ​I had already decided the main event was the dessert (more on that later!), but I noticed their fantastic-looking fries. They were golden, crispy, and incredibly tempting. As I was about to order them, I made a quick, casual mention of my diet, noting that I am a pescatarian with strict meat restrictions. In a moment that truly defined perfect service, Kayden immediately and proactively stopped me, taking the time to kindly inform me that the fries were cooked using beef tallow. ​This was a critical intervention. It has been over twelve years since I have knowingly consumed any beef, and a simple craving could have unfortunately led to me getting quite sick. Kayden’s diligence, conscientiousness, and genuine concern for my well-being went above and beyond the standard expectation of hospitality. She wasn't just taking an order; she was acting as a thoughtful guardian of my dining experience. That level of attentiveness and invaluable care is what elevates a good business to a truly great one. ​And finally, to address the reason for my visit: the banana pudding is, without a doubt, the single best I’ve had in this entire side of North Carolina. It is a creamy, perfectly layered masterpiece—rich, homemade, and decadently smooth without being overly sweet. It was the perfect reward after such a positively surprising service interaction. We left feeling grateful, happy, and immensely impressed by both the culinary talent and the absolute perfection of Kayden's customer service. We visited this restaurant and were delighted. Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious, from the main dishes to the smallest details. The quality of the food and the flavors were exceptional. Highly recommended, and we look forward to coming back soon.

Ate here dark meat chicken, the best I've had around. Smoked then refried until the skin is crispy in beef tallow and then mopped with their sauce. Sweet potato fries and cinnamon butter all was delicious. Nice staff. VERY CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT! 100 on inspection grade. Would go back grabbed a menu for take out one night well worth the thirty minutes drive.

My fiancé and I visited on Saturday and had the best experience. The restaurant is very inviting, well lit, and super clean. The owners were very attentive. Service was super great and the food was over the top delicious. We had brisket, cooked to perfection. It was different than Texas Brisket and much better too. The brisket was super moist, beefy, and just awesome. The green beans were very flavorful and the hushpuppies just right. A very wonderful restaurant indeed!!!

Wow, the brisket was great! Some of the softest, most melt in your mouth beef you'll ever find! The BBQ was also very good and full of flavor! The slaw was not my favorite but ok. Collards were tender. Their house sauce is very rich and sweet. Will be back to try more items!

So good! I ordered the brisket and chicken with Mac and baked beans. Came with 3 hush puppies. They were amazing in the honey butter. The chicken was my favorite. Smokey and spicy. The brisket was flavorful and tender. I will definitely make this a regular treat. Service was friendly as well.

Hit the brakes!!! This place was ahhhhmazing! One of the cleanest establishments I have ever visited. Matter of fact, 100 sanitation grade. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Now about the bombdiggity food...we had tasty brisket, sides and tea. Barbecue sauce was perfection. Not to mention the honey butter with the hush puppies. We will be back for sure on our next trip headed to Danville.

Holy Smokes is RIGHT!!! 5 STARS — This BBQ Changed My Life (and possibly my jeans size) Listen… I walked into this place thinking I’d just “grab a quick bite.” Two hours later, I was in a full-blown committed relationship with a plate of food. The brisket was so tender it practically apologized for falling apart. The bbq? Melted faster than your self-control at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The sauce? I don’t know what’s in it, but if they sold it as cologne, I’d buy a gallon and call it “Eau de Heaven.” Service was faster than my cousin running to the buffet line at a family reunion, and everyone was friendlier than a grandma with a fresh pie. I left full, happy, and seriously considering naming my firstborn after the pitmaster.
